As a business development manager and contract coordinator, you’ll identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. You will work alongside the business manager to successfully grow the business.
Contract type: Part-time
Salary of £12,672 per year

Contracting hours: 24 hrs a week Monday – Friday (including some occasional weekends)

Responsibilities
research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
understand your customers’ needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
work strategically – carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
draw up client contracts.
Conduct customer follow-up to build a long business relationship.
Send feedback requests to customers after each service.
have a good understanding of the business’s products or services and be able to advise others about them.
be available during some events to sell our services to potential clients.
Liaise with festival organisers across London for a trading spot on behalf of the company.
help to plan sales campaigns.
create a sale pipeline.
negotiate pricing with customers.
increase sales of the business
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors.
develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
Manage the company’s social media channels.
Qualification
A degree in marketing and business studies is preferable.

Qualifications
A degree in Business management with digital marketing skills background is essential
Skills
Oversee all the company activities.
Manage staff data and training needs.
Liaise with customers.
Ensure the company is represented appropriately.
use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office.
manage online and paper filing systems.
develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management.
record operational expenditure and budget.
ensure adequate staff levels to cover absences and workload peaks, by using temping agencies.
delegate work to staff and manage their workload and output.
promote staff development and training.
implement and promote equality and diversity policy.
respond to customer enquiries and complaints.
review and update health and safety policies and ensure they’re observed.
check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
supervised social media activities for the company.
planning food and beverage menus, scheduling shifts, and coordinating food preparation and serving during events.
Work experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar role
Understanding of food hygiene
Hands-on experience with creating menus from scratch.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Customer service attitude
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances.
Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays.
Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus.

Experience
1 year and over in a similar role is essential

Responsibilities
Plan food and beverage menus considering clients’ preferences and special requests (for example healthy meals for children)
Determine requirements for ingredients and set portions.
Schedule staff shifts.
Train and manage wait staff and kitchen personnel.
Oversee food prep and customer service.
Report on expenses
Manage stock and place orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the company

Responsibilities

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Cook food with various utensils or grillers.
Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
Check the quality of ingredients.
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
